Alma Esparza

Even before I knew that my professional path would definitely go through the visual arts, my passion for astronomy brought me closer to the interest of other sciences such as biology and psychology; after realizing that my skills and abilities would be very useful to me, I decided to pursue a career in the visual arts.

I studied Animation, Art and Digital Design at a small university in Mexico City, where I made very good friends and met some very talented colleagues. Later on, I did a specialization in TV Production and Postproduction, where I defined that video editing was something I really liked.

​

Since science is part of my personal tastes, I started a path of ideas to be able to undertake in the future, where I could integrate my professional knowledge in favor of a personal project that could be of help or as a guide to other people. It was around this time that a project called “Cykes” came to me, where the theme was to touch topics of social and psychological interest giving them a twist of humor and learning; this project lasted about a year and along with this project I started my last specialty so far: Concept Art.

With this last specialty I consolidate my way to find my personal science project and start with a more formal job search that could generate me more experience both professionally and professional techniques first hand in the industry.
